Newport Beach Restaurant Week is fast approaching and each of Newport Beach’s neighborhoods have some stand out restaurants participating in this week long celebration. Today we feature West Newport.

West Newport offers two amazing, one-of-a-kind restaurants participating in the 6th Annual Newport Beach Restaurant Week: Royal Thai Cuisine and The Alley Restaurant. At $10 or $15 for lunch and $20 or $30 for dinner, they are each offering 3 course prix-fixe bargain gourmet meals. Royal Thai Cuisine offers exquisite Thai dining, with its delicious flavors and exotic atmosphere. Come for lunch or dinner or be part of the fun by taking one of its cooking classes, where you’ll learn to create an authentic 4 course Thai dinner. Or stop by the Alley Restaurant and enjoy its classic atmosphere, reminiscent of a turn-of-the-century San Francisco-style saloon. Take your pick of prime steaks, fresh seafood, and wonderful pasta, or enjoy the late-night “Anti-Happy Hour” menu, popular with the locals.

Newport Coast Restaurants Participating in the 2012 Newport Beach Restaurant Week

Newport Beach Restaurant Week is here and each of Newport Beach’s neighborhoods have some stand out restaurants participating in this week long celebration. Today we feature Newport Coast.

Lined with waterfront restaurants, boats for hire, and luxury car dealerships, Mariner’s Mile, the nautical heart of Newport Beach, has several restaurants participating in the 6th Annual Newport Beach Restaurant Week. A Restaurant, The Chart House, The First Cabin – Balboa Bay Club, Rusty Pelican, and SOL Cocina are all offering bargain gourmet 3 course prix-fixe menus at $15 or $20 for lunch and $30 or $40 for dinner. Since 1926, The Arches location has been the destination for dining in Newport Beach and was recently renovated as A Restaurant & Market. A Restaurant retains its old-world charm, with a classic and classy vibe, leather banquettes, low lighting, and cozy fireplace and bar. Enjoy a delicious dinner while sitting in front of the fireplace on the outdoor patio of The Chart House, while soaking up the stunning harbor and sunset views. The First Cabin, located in the Balboa Bay Club, features fine dining with elegant water views. True to its name, The First Cabin is reminiscent of an elegant dining room on a cruise liner. A large pelican sculpture greets you as you enter The Rusty Pelican. Enjoy the nautical feel at this upscale waterfront eatery while enjoying the harbor views through the large windows in the dining area. Balboa Island Restaurants Participating in the 2012 Newport Beach Restaurant Week

Balboa Island is home to the nation’s largest and oldest famed Christmas boat parade, as well as California’s only functioning three-car auto ferry that was created in 1919. Enjoy its village-like atmosphere as you stroll by a variety of delightful restaurants, quaint cafes, boutiques and art galleries. Amelia’s Restaurant, Barolo By The Sea, Ciao Italian Restaurant, and Wilma’s Patio are all participating in the 6th Annual Newport Beach Restaurant Week. They are offering bargain gourmet 3 course prix-fixe menus at $10 or $15 for lunch and $20 or $30 for dinner.
Stop by Amelia’s Restaurant, where for nearly 50 years Amelia and her family have been serving visitors and locals alike who cherish simply delicious seafood and delectable pastas. Barolo By The Sea serves fine foods and drinks in an understated, elegant atmosphere. Take your pick from their Fine Italian menu and their large, gourmet wine selection, which contains some of the best wines from all over the world.
