Newport Beach Restaurant Week is fast approaching and each of Newport Beach’s neighborhoods have some stand out restaurants participating in this week long celebration. Today we feature Cannery Village.
Once the hub of commercial fishing boat activity in Newport Beach, the eight historic blocks of Cannery Village now stirs with artists, musicians, and shoppers that come for the fresh fish and beautiful scenic views overlooking the water. Lucky for you, both Bluewater Grill and Cannery Restaurant are participating in the 6th Annual Newport Beach Restaurant Week. At $20 for lunch and $30 or $40 for dinner, they are each offering 3 course prix-fixe bargain gourmet meals. Visit the first ever Bluewater Grill location and choose from up to 40 varieties of OC’s freshest seafood or grab a bite from their raw Oyster Bar. Appropriately described by the great John Steinbeck: “The Cannery is a poem…a quality of light…a tone, a habit, a nostalgia, a dream…”, Cannery Restaurant boasts over 90 years of American history and is committed to serving the finest seafood available. Both are great restaurants to enjoy breath-taking views of Newport Beach while enjoying a glass of wine and an abundance of fresh seafood selections.
